Meet Steve Solo

Writing music to keep some form of sanity, after a life from Military in my teens and early 20's, to the owner of Alt. Fashion distributor for companies such as Manic Panic hair dye and no longer able to work a "normal job".
So, following a mental breakdown due to PTSD, ADHD, ASD and so on last year (2023) and losing my business in the process, I decided to go back to Music, I say back to as I had a tiny band back in the 90's called Amnesia if I have not forgotten (hahaha shut up I have Gen X humor).

Amnesia was a slightly different genre to what I create now. It was grunge rock type stuff and I was a very "proud" owner of a Jackson, and boy was I a typical guitarist. I still have guitars, and some even worm their way into some of my new electronic tracks.

My music is a reflection of my inner mind of madness, mostly melodic with a dark feel and generally in the melodic Electronic House / Techno genres. Watch out for the Synth wave and 80's influence.

Being a Music Producer has been something that I always thought was out of reach until the opportunity presented itself to try Ableton Live for a month. In that month I produced 5 songs, nothing fantastic obviously but I liked it, and believe me I hyper focused on Ableton for that month. The decision was made that I would buy Ableton 12 Live Standard, and as luck would have it I was able to pay for it in 4 payments. I created my first track "SoloState". Check it out here on YouTube.
